Addie's Angels NFP
Meet The Team
Founder ~ Adelyn (Addie) Schuch
Our Founder, Addie Schuch, has always led with a philanthropic and service-oriented spirit. After a family member was impacted by Epilepsy, she was inspired to take action. Addie’s Angels NFP was created to raise awareness for Juvenile Epilepsy and other seizure disorders, while also generating support for research and medical testing advancements that help diagnose and treat those affected.

Addie currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia and works as an Analyst at The Home Depot, where she focuses on optimizing online sales and assortment strategy. She graduated in Spring 2025 from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Business Economics and a minor in Spanish.
Originally from Illinois, Addie enjoys exercise, weight training, health management, travel, and reading in her spare time. Thank you for visiting this space!

President ~ Judi Schuch

Thank you for visiting Addie's Angel NFP. As President of this organization, it is my honor to bring awareness to Juvenile Epilepsy and various types of seizure disorders. Neurological disorders vary in spectrum and arise from all sorts of conditions or events in one's life. While some families experience benign or rolandic circumstances, there are thousands of families across this country that suffer with serious, daily, and debilitating forms of Epilepsy. It is our goal to improve the protocols associated with seizure prevention, identification, and overall epileptic care.

Originally from Woodstock, Illinois, I graduate from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, the American Institute for Paralegal Studies at Loyola University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law, formerly The John Marshall School of Law, cum laude. With experience in estate planning, employment law, and large multi-national litigation, helping small service industries and volunteerism have always been my passion.

Originally from a small town in Bulgaria, I moved to the United States over twenty-five years ago, embracing a journey of growth across several states before settling in Arlington Heights. The experience of building a life in diverse communities, combined with my upbringing, instilled in me a lifelong passion for service and a deep belief in the power of creating meaningful connections through volunteerism. I work as a Technology Facilitator in our local school district, supporting students and staff as they explore innovative ways to learn and grow. Being part of that process is incredibly fulfilling. Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, spending time in nature, and traveling to new places.

As Treasurer of Addie's Angels NFP, I am honored to serve alongside our Founder, Addie Schuch. Her energy, compassion, and determination are truly inspirational. Addie channeled her family’s encounter with epilepsy into a powerful mission to raise awareness and funds for research. I am proud to support this life-changing and impactful work.
